The inspiration for this Lilac inspired plant came to me during one of our Spring breaks.Which was right after I had made the Procedural Amsterdam Canal Houses Project. And in that project to make the decorations for the anchor plates. I used L-Systems quite a bit, so I got the hang of them. So why Lilacs? I was visiting my grandparents for a couple of days and if Lilacs are in season, we always get some for my grandma. Their shape intrigued me, and I saw how I could use L-Systems to make them. Another reason I wanted to do this is because there is no internet at my grandparents’ house, and I wanted to see how much of the L-System knowledge has stuck with me.
